Late Monday night into early Tuesday morning, Milwaukee was shaken by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 34-year-old Jonny Ballard. The grim discovery unfolded around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Hickory and Fond du Lac Avenue, drawing police to the scene in response to reports of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found Ballard suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite swift and determined efforts by first responders, he was pronounced dead on site. The immediate loss has left questions lingering and a community reeling.
