In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a devastating incident unfolded in Memphis’ Orange Mound neighborhood. Around 4:30 a.m., officers responded to a shooting near Riley Avenue and Airways Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered a woman who had been fatally shot and another woman critically injured. The suspect, identified as a man in a relationship with one of the victims, had also shot himself and was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
