24-Year-Old Auburn Woman Charged in Deadly Montgomery Shooting

A tragic incident unfolded on the evening of Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Jovon Prince. The Montgomery Police Department responded to a call reporting a person shot in the 2000 block of Locust Street at approximately 6:45 PM. Upon arrival, officers and fire medics discovered Prince deceased at the scene. Subsequently, 24-year-old Hanna Brooke Bentley, an Auburn resident, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting.
