Dangerous Driver Jailed After Killing Flight Attendant at 120mph — Dash Cam Footage Reveals Fatal Crash

Posted on May 17, 2025 by Usainsightreport

A reckless driver has been sentenced to over 12 years in prison after a horrifying high-speed crash that claimed the life of a beloved flight attendant. Sensenal Amaglo, 42, admitted to causing death by dangerous driving after a devastating collision on the M2 in Kent that left 58-year-old Heidi Lee Locke dead at the scene.

The tragic incident occurred on the morning of November 27, 2022, as Ms Locke was en route to her job at Heathrow Airport. She was a dedicated employee of United Airlines and a well-respected member of the Broadstairs community. She never made it to work that day. Amaglo, behind the wheel of a high-performance Mercedes C-Class, was driving at an astonishing speed exceeding 120mph when he ploughed into Ms Locke’s Nissan Qashqai.

Shockingly, the entire crash was captured on Amaglo’s own dash cam, which served as crucial evidence in the investigation and subsequent court proceedings. The footage revealed the sheer recklessness of his driving and left no doubt about the catastrophic danger he posed to other road users.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but Ms Locke was pronounced dead on impact due to the severity of the collision. The violent crash left both vehicles in ruins and caused significant disruption on the motorway as investigators worked to piece together what had occurred.

At Maidstone Crown Court on Monday, May 12, Amaglo pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. The judge described his actions as “utterly inexcusable,” citing the combination of extreme speed, disregard for road safety, and the fatal consequences of his choices. He was sentenced to 12 years and three months in prison. In addition, he received a lengthy driving ban, the full details of which will take effect upon his release.

Family members of Ms Locke were present in court and shared heartbreaking impact statements. They described her as a warm, generous, and hardworking woman who had dedicated her life to helping others through her work in the aviation industry. Her death has left a void in the lives of her loved ones and colleagues, who continue to mourn the senseless loss.

Police investigators emphasized the importance of road safety and condemned the dangers of excessive speeding. A spokesperson from Kent Police said:

“This case is a stark reminder of the deadly consequences that can arise from dangerous driving. Speed limits are not mere suggestions; they exist to protect lives. Mr. Amaglo’s reckless behavior not only ended an innocent woman’s life but also devastated an entire family and community.”

The case has reignited public concern about speeding on UK roads, particularly on motorways where high speeds can quickly turn fatal. Campaigners are calling for stricter enforcement measures and more education on the risks of dangerous driving.

Heidi Lee Locke’s memory lives on through those who knew and loved her. Her death is a painful reminder of how one individual’s thoughtless actions can irreparably alter the lives of many. Her family hopes that by sharing her story, they can raise awareness and prevent similar tragedies in the future.
