Remembering Jessica Kristen Haley of Sugar Land, Texas

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jessica Kristen Haley, who departed this world on May 11, 2025, at the age of 42, after a courageous and unwavering three-year battle with colorectal cancer. Her journey was marked by grace, strength, and an unyielding will to live fully and love deeply, even in the face of adversity.

Born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, Jessica was a beloved daughter, wife, friend, and member of the community. Her warm smile, infectious laugh, and compassionate heart endeared her to everyone she met. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply her presence, Jessica had a unique ability to make people feel valued and loved.

Jessica’s life was a tapestry of kindness and service. She was known for her deep empathy, her fierce loyalty to those she loved, and her vibrant spirit that brought joy to so many. Her home was a sanctuary for family and friends, a place filled with laughter, conversation, and unwavering support.

Professionally, Jessica was admired for her intelligence, dedication, and integrity. She carried herself with a quiet confidence and worked with purpose and passion, often going above and beyond to help others succeed. Outside of work, she enjoyed gardening, painting, reading historical fiction, and exploring nature trails around Sugar Land with her husband, Christopher Clemence, the love of her life and her steadfast companion throughout her illness.

Jessica’s battle with cancer revealed the depth of her courage and the strength of her spirit. She approached every challenge with dignity and refused to let her illness define her. Through it all, she remained a source of inspiration, showing us what it truly means to live with resilience, faith, and love.

Jessica is survived by her devoted husband, Christopher Clemence, who stood by her side with unwavering devotion; her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and close friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

A celebration of Jessica’s remarkable life will be held on June 2, 2025, at Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home Sugar Creek in Sugar Land, Texas. All who knew and loved Jessica are invited to attend, share memories, and honor the legacy of a woman who gave so much to so many.

Though she has left this earth, Jessica Kristen Haley’s light will continue to shine in the lives of those she touched. Her legacy of love, compassion, and strength will endure, reminding us all to live with purpose and to cherish every moment.
