In Loving Memory of Alejandro “Ale” Santos — A Life Full of Heart, Courage, and Connection
Chula Vista, CA — It is with profound sadness and deep respect that we announce the passing of Alejandro “Ale” Santos, who departed this world on June 3, 2025, leaving behind a powerful legacy of quiet strength, genuine kindness, and unwavering resilience. He was 38 years old.

Ale, as he was affectionately known, was not only a beloved son, brother, and friend—he was a bright light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A resident of Chula Vista, California, Ale was best known for his love of cars, his magnetic energy, and his ability to uplift others, even in the face of personal adversity.

From a young age, Ale had a passion for building, restoring, and racing cars. His garage was a second home—not just for himself, but for friends, neighbors, and fellow enthusiasts who would stop by not only for help with a project, but for his signature laughter, warm smile, and good conversation. Whether he was fine-tuning an engine or attending a car show, Ale’s knowledge and enthusiasm were unmatched.

But what truly defined Ale was his indomitable spirit. Throughout his life, he faced serious health challenges with remarkable grace and dignity. Rather than retreat inward, Ale chose to remain outwardly generous and positive. He focused on cultivating connection, staying involved in his community, and cherishing the simple joys of life—sunset drives, BBQs with family, music that moved him, and the company of those he loved.

He taught us that strength doesn’t always come with fanfare—it can exist quietly in the way someone gets up each day, in the smile they share despite pain, and in the kindness they extend when the world isn’t kind in return.

Alejandro leaves behind a heartbroken yet grateful community. His memory will live on in the stories we tell, the lives he touched, and the values he embodied: loyalty, humility, resilience, and joy.

The Santos family invites all who knew Ale to join them in celebrating his life at a memorial service to be held in Chula Vista. In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund to help with service arrangements and to honor Ale’s legacy in a meaningful way.

Details regarding the date, time, and location of the service will be shared soon. In the meantime, friends and loved ones are encouraged to share memories, photos, and tributes—small reminders of a life so beautifully lived.

Rest in peace, Ale. Your ride may be over, but your journey continues in every heart you touched. You were one of a kind, and your legacy will always burn bright.
