Have You Seen Erica? Community Urged to Help Find Missing 14-Year-Old Girl

#MissingPersonAlert — AURORA, COLORADO — Authorities and loved ones are asking for the public’s urgent help in locating Erica, a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday evening, when she reportedly left her home near E. Dry Creek Road and S. Gartrell Road around 8:45 p.m. and never returned.

Erica is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair. A distinctive feature that may help identify her is a Henna tattoo on her left forearm.

Her sudden disappearance has sparked growing concern among family members, friends, neighbors, and the broader community, who say it is completely out of character for Erica to leave without checking in or communicating with anyone.

“We just want her home safe. Erica, if you’re reading this — please know you’re not in trouble. We love you, we miss you, and we just want to know you’re okay,” said a family member through a social media plea on Monday evening.

Local law enforcement and volunteers have already begun canvassing the area, checking local parks, shopping centers, and other common gathering places for teens. Flyers have been posted throughout neighborhoods, and community members are circulating Erica’s photo widely on social media using the hashtag #FindErica and #BringEricaHome.

The Aurora Police Department is leading the investigation and has urged anyone with information — no matter how small — to come forward. So far, officials have not indicated whether they suspect foul play, but they have emphasized that time is critical when locating a missing child.

“In these situations, every minute counts,” said an Aurora Police spokesperson. “We’re asking anyone who may have seen Erica or who may have security footage from the area near E. Dry Creek and S. Gartrell to check their cameras and contact us immediately.”

If you have any information regarding Erica’s whereabouts or if you believe you may have seen her after 8:45 p.m. on Sunday night, please contact the Aurora Police Department at 303-627-3100. Callers can remain anonymous if they choose.

In the meantime, Erica’s loved ones are holding onto hope and leaning on each other for strength, while volunteers prepare to organize a search party if she is not found in the next 24 hours.

Please share Erica’s story. Together, we can bring her home.
