AUGUSTA, GA — Law enforcement agencies across Augusta and surrounding areas are urgently asking for the public’s assistance in locating several missing individuals—ranging from teenagers in group homes to adults facing uncertain circumstances. With multiple active investigations underway, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and Aiken County Sheriff’s Office are releasing detailed information in hopes that tips from the community will help bring these individuals home safely.

RUNAWAYS FROM GROUP HOMES

Katelinn Anderson, 14

Katelinn Anderson was last seen around midnight on Friday after leaving a group home located in the 5000 block of Old Waynesboro Road in Augusta. Deputies say Anderson left the residence on foot and has not been seen since. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a colorful shirt, black jogger pants, and slide sandals.

Trimeka Thomas, 17

Also reported missing from the same group home and at the same time as Anderson, Trimeka Thomas disappeared shortly after midnight on Friday. Thomas was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, white shoes, and was known to be wearing an ankle monitor.

Gabrielle Brennon, 16

Gabrielle Brennon is another teenager who ran away from the group home on Old Waynesboro Road around the same time. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, pink pants, and flip flops, and was also wearing an ankle monitor at the time.

MISSING SISTERS: JANIYAH AND JORDYN TUGGLE

Janiyah Mechellae Tuggle, 16

Last seen Thursday at 7 p.m. on the 2300 block of Winston Way, Janiyah Tuggle left her location on foot. She was wearing a pink shirt and black pants.

  • Weight: 125 lbs

Jordyn Alexandria Tuggle, 13

Believed to be with her older sister, Jordyn was also last seen at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the same location.

Both girls’ disappearance has raised alarm due to their young age and possible vulnerability.

OTHER TEENS MISSING FROM THE AUGUSTA AREA

Marcus Amandrez Roberts, 16

Marcus Roberts was last seen around 12:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex located at 2375 Barton Chapel Road. He was last seen on foot, wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants, and carrying two bags. Deputies have not confirmed whether he entered a vehicle.

Flora Rose Robinson, 16

Flora Robinson was last seen around noon on June 25 on the 200 block of Lumpkin Road. Witnesses saw her walking away from Butler High School toward the Bernie Ward Community Center. She was reportedly very upset. Flora was last seen wearing dark plaid pajama pants; her shirt is unknown.

MISSING ADULTS

Rachel Jeanie Black, 57

Rachel Black of North Augusta was last seen by her family on June 18. She is believed to be driving a white 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck with South Carolina license plate 2428PX.

Penny Louise Black, 57

Penny Black was last seen on May 1 in the 1400 block of Walton Way in Augusta after being evicted from her residence. Authorities have not been able to contact her since.

Joanna Willette Powell, 40

Joanna Powell was reported missing to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week. Details surrounding the circumstances of her disappearance remain limited at this time. Investigators are following up on leads and urging the public to come forward with any information.
