Abilene Police Investigating Another Shooting at Bravo Hookah Lounge: Two Hospitalized, Suspects Sought
ABILENE, Texas — In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 29, 2025, gunfire erupted once again at a location that has become all too familiar to law enforcement. At approximately 3:00 a.m., officers from the Abilene Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to reports of shots fired at the Bravo Hookah Lounge, located at 706 N. 6th Street.
According to authorities, multiple 911 callers reported a large fight involving several individuals inside or near the establishment, which quickly escalated to gunfire. When officers arrived on scene, they were informed that two male victims had already been transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicle. Both men were suffering from gunshot wounds; their current conditions have not been publicly disclosed.
Repeat Violence at Bravo Hookah Lounge
This latest incident marks the third shooting at Bravo Hookah Lounge in 2025 alone, and the fourth shooting in the past nine months, raising serious concerns about public safety and security at the venue. Residents and community leaders alike are growing increasingly alarmed about the pattern of violence centered around the location.
Investigation and Suspect Search Underway
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division, who were already working on an unrelated homicide case, were called in to assist patrol officers with this investigation. Through initial witness interviews and surveillance review, police were able to obtain a description of possible suspects involved in the shooting. However, no arrests have been made at this time.
Police are treating the case as an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and the search for the shooter(s) continues. The investigation remains active, and officers are working to piece together the sequence of events that led to the violence.
