Posted on July 9, 2025 by Usainsightreport

Crawfordville, Florida – July 8, 2025 – With broken hearts and immeasurable sorrow, the Crawfordville community grieves the passing of Ryder Houser, who went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2025, at the tender age of 15. Ryder was a shining light in the lives of his family, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His sudden departure has left a deep void, but also a legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength that will never be forgotten.

A beloved son, devoted friend, and bright student at Bayou Academy, Ryder was known for his gentle spirit, genuine kindness, and the infectious smile that could brighten any room. His warmth drew people in, and his empathy made them feel safe, heard, and valued. Whether helping a friend in need or offering a quiet word of encouragement, Ryder embodied the kind of compassion that made a difference, one heart at a time.

Though his years on this earth were few, Ryder lived with depth and sincerity beyond his age. He loved his family fiercely, valued his friendships deeply, and approached life with a joyful, open heart. He was the kind of person who made others feel better simply by being near — humble, caring, and full of grace.

As a student, Ryder showed curiosity and dedication. At Bayou Academy, his teachers remember him not only for his academic talents but also for his character — respectful, thoughtful, and always willing to help. His classmates looked up to him, admired his integrity, and cherished his unwavering loyalty. Ryder’s presence at school and in the community will be missed more than words can express.

In this time of mourning, the community has come together to honor Ryder’s life and support his family. While no words can ease the pain of such a loss, the outpouring of love and memories speaks volumes about the kind of young man Ryder was and the lives he touched.

To know Ryder was to love him — and to lose him is to feel the ache of a world missing one of its brightest lights.

As we say goodbye, we hold onto the hope and faith that Ryder now rests in eternal peace, embraced by the love of God. His spirit remains alive in the memories we hold dear and the example of kindness and faith he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Ryder Houser.

You were a blessing in this life, and you will be forever missed.
