Tragedy Strikes Near Francisco & Arthington: 22-Year-Old Fatally Shot, Pronounced Dead at Scene”

Chicago, IL – A 23-year-old man has tragically lost his life after being shot in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

The incident occurred early Wednesday, December 11, 2024, around 12:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of South Francisco Avenue. Police responded to a call of shots fired and found the victim in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

The man was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and Area 4 detectives are actively investigating the fatal shooting.
