It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Marie Haselow, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world too soon on April 30, 2025, at the age of 36. Her departure has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born and raised in Wadsworth, Illinois, Sarah was a bright light in the lives of everyone around her. Her compassion, kindness, and infectious smile were just a few of the many qualities that endeared her to so many. Whether through her words or actions, Sarah had an uncanny ability to uplift and support those in need. Her life was marked by a deep commitment to her family and her community, always giving of herself selflessly and wholeheartedly.
Sarah was the cherished daughter of her devoted parents, who nurtured and supported her every step of the way. She was the beloved wife of a loving and steadfast husband, who stood by her side through all of life’s joys and challenges. Together they built a home filled with laughter, love, and warmth. Sarah’s most treasured role, however, was that of a mother to her beautiful daughter, who brought immense pride and joy into her life. She is also survived by her siblings, with whom she shared a bond that could not be broken—a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering love.
Sarah’s life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and kindness. Her presence in the lives of others was a true gift—one that will never be forgotten. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen and heard, and she left behind a legacy of empathy and grace that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
To honor Sarah’s life, a visitation will be held on May 6, 2025, at Strang Funeral Home. This will be an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a woman who gave so much to those around her. A funeral service will follow on May 7, 2025, with burial to take place shortly thereafter. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
In this time of grief, the Haselow family kindly asks for the community’s support and prayers. Though Sarah is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in the lives she touched.
