Posted on July 31, 2025 by Usainsightreport

A 55-year-old man from Pratt, Kansas, sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Pratt County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at 6:53 a.m. on July 30, 2025, on US-281 highway at Southeast 60th Street, approximately five miles south of Pratt. A 2004 Buick Rendezvous, driven by Beaumont J. Lowe, was traveling southbound when the driver swerved to avoid a non-contact vehicle. The Buick veered off the roadway to the east and came to rest in a field.

Lowe, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. Emergency Medical Services transported him to Pratt Regional Medical Center, where he was treated for serious injuries.

The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
