16-Year-Old Killed at 9:14 p.m.—Milwaukee Police Seek Gunman in City’s Latest Youth Homicide

The Milwaukee Homicide Review Commission further paints a sobering picture, noting that at least 16 individuals under the age of 18 have fallen victim to homicide in the city this year. The commission’s data, tracked through August 11, also highlights 59 youth victims of both fatal and nonfatal gun violence, with 40 youth suspects involved, underscoring a troubling cycle of violence affecting the city’s youngest residents.
