The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is now turning to the public for help in locating the individuals responsible, as the investigation continues to unfold.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., deputies responded to an urgent 911 call placed by a female resident living on Ginger Lane in Mooresville. The caller, who has not been publicly identified for her safety, reported a terrifying incident in which a man forcibly entered her home. The man was later identified by authorities as Joshua Andrew Moore.
According to the victim’s statement, Moore broke down the door and launched a physical attack on her. Acting in self-defense, she managed to grab a kitchen knife during the struggle and inflicted multiple stab wounds on her assailant. Further investigation revealed that Moore had not acted alone. He was reportedly accompanied by Jazmin Marie Webb, a female suspect now believed to have been directly involved in the incident. Deputies at the scene collected critical evidence, including the weapon used in the stabbing and security camera footage from nearby residences. They also spoke with the homeowner and several neighbors who were awake or alerted by the disturbance.
Shortly after the home invasion, authorities located Moore at a separate location.
