Boston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting on Munroe Street

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in the area of 107 Munroe Street in the Roxbury neighborhood. The incident unfolded around 3:00 p.m. when officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, police found an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel responded swiftly and transported the man to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification, and authorities have not disclosed any details about potential suspects or motives. The scene was cordoned off for several hours as detectives and crime scene investigators collected evidence and canvassed the area for witnesses or surveillance footage that could shed light on the events leading up to the shooting.
