Fugitives on the Run: Two Women Escape Owensboro Facility, Spark Urgent Manhunt

The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 16, in collaboration with the Department of Probation and Parole, is actively searching for two female inmates who escaped custody in Owensboro, Kentucky.

On Monday, July 28, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m. CDT, Kentucky Probation and Parole officials contacted KSP Post 16 to report that two women residing at Dismas Charities Owensboro had removed their court-mandated ankle monitors and fled the facility. The pair were under community supervision and living at the halfway house-style facility located in Owensboro. Their last known location was at or near the Dismas Charities residence, and they have not been seen or heard from since their escape. Authorities have issued escape alerts, and multiple law enforcement agencies are working together to locate and apprehend the fugitives.

– **Known Offenses**:
– Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument – 2nd Degree (Identity-related)


Both individuals have a history of fraud and forgery-related offenses. Authorities caution that they should not be approached if seen.
