Harris County Woman Charged with Murder After Fatal Shooting of Boyfriend
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A 23-year-old woman has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting that occurred late Sunday night at an apartment complex in northwest Harris County. Authorities allege that the woman, identified as Derricka Ross, fatally shot her 22-year-old boyfriend, Javion Williams, during a domestic dispute.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at the complex shortly before midnight. Upon arrival, they discovered Williams with a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services were called, but Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ross was taken into custody at the scene without incident. She has been charged with murder and is currently being held at the Harris County Jail. Details regarding her bond and upcoming court appearances have not been released.
