In Loving Memory of Andrew Buck Keene (Valdosta, Georgia)

With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Andrew Buck Keene, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on June 14, 2025, at the tender age of 22. The news of Andrew’s passing has sent waves of grief throughout the Valdosta community and beyond, as those who knew him remember a young man whose presence was both kind and quietly powerful.

Andrew was more than just a bright light in the lives of his loved ones—he was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support. Known for his easygoing nature, infectious smile, and compassionate heart, Andrew made a lasting impression on everyone he met. Whether sharing stories around the dinner table, lending a hand without being asked, or simply offering a quiet shoulder during hard times, he had a way of making people feel safe and seen.

Born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia, Andrew was deeply rooted in his community. He was proud of where he came from and often spoke of how much he valued his family, his friendships, and the experiences that shaped him. He found joy in life’s small moments—time spent outdoors, music that stirred his soul, and meaningful conversations that carried late into the night. He was a thinker, a listener, and someone who lived with intention.

His sudden loss has left a painful void for those who loved him most. He is survived by his devoted parents, whose love for him knew no bounds; by his siblings, who looked up to him as a protector and confidant; and by a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who considered him family. The sorrow of his absence is matched only by the gratitude for the time he shared with us.

In the face of this heartbreaking loss, we honor Andrew by holding tight to the memories he leaves behind—the laughter, the adventures, the quiet support, and the endless love. His spirit will live on not only in the stories we tell but in the ways we care for one another, just as he would have wanted.

Let us also lift up his family in this time of unimaginable grief. No words can truly ease the pain of losing someone so young and full of promise, but our love, prayers, and presence can help carry them through.

A life as beautiful and meaningful as Andrew Buck Keene’s deserves to be remembered with reverence, love, and unity. May we all find comfort in knowing that his light continues to shine—in the hearts of those he touched, in the lives he made brighter, and in the legacy of kindness and sincerity he leaves behind.

Rest in eternal peace, Andrew. You will forever be missed, and forever remembered.
