In Loving Memory of Bryan Brewer – Fire Crew Member, Dacotah Speedway

It is with heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Bryan Brewer, a devoted member of the Dacotah Speedway Fire Crew, who passed away Sunday evening at his home in Mercer, North Dakota. His sudden departure has left the Dacotah Speedway family and the wider racing community in shock and mourning.

For many years, Bryan stood as a quiet but mighty force behind the scenes at the track—a guardian of safety, a steadfast presence, and a true friend to many. His role on the Fire Crew was not just a duty—it was a calling, and he carried it out with honor, skill, and unwavering commitment. Whether it was a high-speed incident on the track or a routine race night, Bryan was always there, ready to act without hesitation to protect drivers, crews, and fans alike.

Beyond his service, Bryan will be remembered for his warm smile, dry wit, and the steady calm he brought to even the most intense situations. Fellow crew members recall not only his reliability but the heart and humility he brought to every shift. His experience and mentorship helped guide newer members of the team, and his presence created a sense of unity that will be sorely missed.

Outside the racetrack, Bryan was a man of quiet strength and loyalty—a beloved friend, a family man, and someone who gave generously without ever asking for recognition. His passing leaves a deep void, not only in the Fire Crew but also in the hearts of all who knew him.

Dacotah Speedway was more than just a place Bryan volunteered—it was his extended family, his community, and a part of his identity. His memory will continue to echo through the pits, on the track, and in every heart that beats a little faster under the roar of racing engines.

We extend our deepest condolences to Bryan’s family, friends, and all those who loved and respected him. As we honor his memory, we invite the racing community to join us in celebrating his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Plans for a tribute at Dacotah Speedway are currently underway and will be shared with the public in the coming days. We encourage fans, crew members, and racers alike to come together to pay their respects to a man who gave so much, so selflessly.

Thank you, Bryan Brewer, for everything.
Your dedication kept others safe.
Your presence brought comfort.
Your absence will be felt deeply—on and off the track.
Rest in peace, brother. We’ll see you at the finish line. 🏁
