In Loving Memory of Kellis Starks (2004 – 2025)

Posted on May 21, 2025 by Usainsightreport

With profound sadness and deep respect, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Kellis Starks, a beloved young soul who left this world far too soon on May 11, 2025, at the tender age of 20.

Kellis was more than just a name to those who knew them—Kellis was a vibrant presence, a light in the lives of family, friends, and community members alike. Born and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland, Kellis brought joy, kindness, and an unmistakable energy to every space they entered. Whether through a smile, a word of encouragement, or a quiet act of generosity, Kellis touched lives in ways that words can scarcely capture.

In school, in friendships, and within the local community, Kellis stood out as someone who lived authentically and loved unconditionally. Their creativity, curiosity, and compassion were the hallmarks of a spirit that was both wise beyond its years and wonderfully youthful. Known for their quick wit and gentle demeanor, Kellis was a confidant to many and an inspiration to even more.

Though their time with us was tragically brief, the legacy Kellis leaves behind is enduring. In their 20 years, Kellis managed to do what many spend a lifetime trying to achieve: they made others feel seen, heard, and valued. That is a gift we will carry with us always.

As we come together to remember Kellis, we invite all who knew them to join in celebrating a life that, though short in years, was immense in impact. Visitation will be held on May 31st, followed by a memorial service to honor and reflect on the beautiful soul we have lost. More details will be shared with the community in the coming days.

In the midst of this sorrow, we ask that you keep Kellis’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May their hearts find comfort in the outpouring of love and shared memories that surround them.

Let us honor Kellis not just in mourning their loss, but in living our own lives with the same authenticity, kindness, and courage that Kellis exemplified every day.

Rest in peace, Kellis. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
