Officer Prather was not only a dedicated public servant but also a respected member of our community whose presence touched many lives. His commitment to law enforcement and his unwavering dedication to the safety and well-being of Hunt County residents will forever be remembered and cherished.

During his years of service, Officer Prather exemplified integrity, courage, and compassion. His work went beyond the badge; it was a calling to protect and serve with honor. He forged strong bonds with colleagues, friends, and community members alike, earning admiration and respect for his professionalism and kind spirit.

Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers go out to Officer Prather’s family, friends, and the entire law enforcement community who are grappling with this tremendous loss. We understand that no words can fully ease the pain of losing such a remarkable individual, but we stand united in support, love, and remembrance.

We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to the first responders who acted swiftly and with great care during this difficult moment. The efforts of Hunt County EMS, AMR 535 (Supervisor), Greenville Fire Department, and Greenville Police Department reflect the strength and solidarity of those who dedicate their lives to protecting ours.
