In Loving Memory: Toriaeno D. Stephens (1989–2025)

Columbus, Mississippi_It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Toriaeno D. Stephens, who departed this life on June 9, 2025, at the age of 35. A beloved member of the Columbus, Mississippi community, Toriaeno was more than a name — they were a guiding light to many, remembered for their kindness, strength, and unwavering love for family and friends.

Toriaeno touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing them. Whether it was through acts of compassion, words of encouragement, or simply the warmth of their presence, Toriaeno brought people together and made every room brighter. They were someone who listened without judgment, loved without condition, and gave without expecting anything in return.

As a son, sibling, friend, and community member, Toriaeno was admired for their strong work ethic, sense of humor, and quiet resilience. They found joy in life’s simple moments and stood as a source of strength during difficult times. Their legacy is not only reflected in the memories shared but in the values they lived by — integrity, generosity, and a deep appreciation for the people they loved.

To honor Toriaeno’s life and legacy, a visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Carter’s Funeral Services in Columbus, MS. Friends, family, and all those whose lives were touched by Toriaeno are invited to attend and pay their respects.

As we navigate this profound loss, let us hold tightly to the moments we shared with Toriaeno and the lessons their life taught us. May we carry forward their spirit of compassion and community, and may their memory continue to inspire us every day.

Please keep the Stephens family in your hearts and prayers during this time of mourning. Though Toriaeno may no longer walk beside us, their light endures — in the stories we tell, the love we share, and the lives they’ve shaped.

Rest in eternal peace, Toriaeno D. Stephens.
