Local Artist “IBoyy” Gunned Down in Sacramento, Leaving Community Heartbroken

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento community is grappling with profound grief following the tragic death of Isaac Rudolph, widely known as “IBoyy,” a beloved member of the Zilla collective. The young artist was fatally shot early Thursday morning, July 24, 2025, in the south Natomas area of north Sacramento.

The Sacramento Police Department reported that officers responded to a call about a possible shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, they found a man, later identified as Isaac Rudolph, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel to administer life-saving measures, Rudolph was pronounced dead at the scene.

Isaac “IBoyy” Rudolph was a rising figure in Sacramento’s music and cultural scene, celebrated for his vibrant contributions to the Zilla collective, a local movement known for its creative energy and community ties. IBoyy’s artistry, marked by authenticity and passion, resonated deeply with fans and collaborators alike. As of now, the Sacramento Police Department has not released information regarding potential suspects or a motive for the shooting.
