Man, 33, Fatally Stabbed in Albany Home on East Tift Avenue

The Albany Police Department (APD) is actively investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred early Friday morning, July 25, 2025, in Albany, Georgia.

The incident took place in the 1000 block of East Tift Avenue. According to authorities, officers responded to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered 33-year-old Darius Jackson, who had sustained fatal injuries. Despite medical efforts, Jackson succumbed to his wounds.

Details surrounding the incident remain limited as the investigation is ongoing. The APD is working to determine the circumstances leading up to the stabbing and identify any suspects involved.
