Posted on May 10, 2025 by Usainsightreport

On Thursday evening, May 8, 2025, law enforcement officials arrested 33-year-old Trevor Andrew Scarbrough at his residence in Pontiac, Michigan. The arrest followed an investigation by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, which alleged that Scarbrough had been trafficking a woman for over a year and had forced her into a sexual act with an animal.

Scarbrough was arraigned on Saturday morning, May 10, facing multiple felony charges:

  • Prostitution/accepting the earnings (20-year felony)

  • Using a computer to commit a crime (20-year felony)

  • Human trafficking enterprise resulting in commercial sexual activity (15-year felony)

  • Sodomy (15-year felony)

  • Delivery/manufacture of controlled substance (20-year felony)

  • Felony firearm (2-year felony)

  • Keeping a house of prostitution (5-year felony)

If convicted on all counts, Scarbrough could face up to 20 years in prison.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard expressed deep concern over the case, stating, “This twisted suspect forced his victim into sexual act with an animal in addition to trafficking her. I am thankful for the tip on this case and know this, if you are similarly minded predator, we are coming for you.

Scarbrough is currently being held in the Oakland County Jail on a $1 million bond. Should he be released, he is required to wear a tether. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.

The case underscores the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat human trafficking and related crimes in the region. Investigations are continuing, and further details may emerge as the legal process unfolds.
