The Reidsville Police Department is conducting an investigation into the sudden and unexpected death of 64-year-old Ponsa Deleon Miller, a resident of Greensboro, North Carolina.
On August 1, 2025, at approximately 12:12 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 1400 block of North Scales Street regarding a reported cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, they found Mr. Miller unresponsive. Rockingham County EMS personnel arrived shortly thereafter and pronounced Mr. Miller deceased at the scene.
Initially reported as a medical emergency, the Reidsville Police Department is treating the incident with heightened scrutiny to determine whether any suspicious or contributing factors were involved. An autopsy is pending to establish the official cause of death, and the investigation remains active as authorities explore all possible circumstances surrounding the incident.
