Posted on May 10, 2025 by Usainsightreport

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear railroad brother and good friend, Geno Vaccaro, who left us yesterday evening, May 9th, 2025, at 6:45 PM. Geno was not only a devoted family man but also a cherished friend to many. His kindness, generosity, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Geno was known for his unwavering strength, having battled a rare form of kidney cancer for the past four years. His fight was nothing short of courageous, and throughout his illness, he remained a beacon of hope and determination. He faced every challenge with a smile, inspiring everyone around him to keep pushing forward, no matter the odds. He was a testament to resilience and a reminder of the importance of fighting for every moment.

In his personal life, Geno was a proud father, grandfather, and friend. His daughter, Annie Marie, shared her heartfelt thoughts with us as she mourns the loss of her father. In her emotional message, she shared the intimate moment of being by his side as he took his final breath, surrounded by his loving family. “I was there with him until he took his very last breath,” Annie Marie wrote. “I will miss my father greatly. He was a wonderful father and grandfather to my daughter Faith. His laugh was very contagious and will never be forgotten.”

Geno’s warmth and laughter were infectious, and his sense of humor will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a special way of brightening any room, no matter how tough things got. His passion for life extended to his love for sports, particularly his loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. Geno’s dedication to his team was just another reflection of his loyal, unwavering character. Whether it was sharing stories about the Packers or just enjoying a casual chat, Geno always brought a sense of camaraderie that will be forever remembered.

As we reflect on the legacy of Geno Vaccaro, we remember not just the man who fought hard against illness, but the friend, the father, and the grandfather who gave so much of himself to others. His love for his family, his friends, and his community was evident in every interaction. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience.

Annie Marie’s message serves as a touching reminder of the impact Geno had on those closest to him. “I love you, Dad, and until our souls meet again, Godspeed.” These words carry the weight of a lifetime of love and gratitude, and we know that Geno’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

We extend our deepest condolences to Annie Marie, her daughter Faith, and the entire Vaccaro family during this difficult time. May Geno’s memory be a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew him. Rest in peace, Geno. You will be missed dearly.
