Sgt. Cox, 24, was a proud member of the “Strike” 2nd Brigade Combat Team, part of the esteemed 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His life was cut short during a vehicle accident while he and his fellow soldiers were preparing for Exercise Saber Guardian 25, a multinational military training operation aimed at enhancing cooperation and readiness among NATO allies and partners.
