The suspect, identified as Jobi Columbus Neal, was taken into custody on charges of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile following allegations involving a 14-year-old victim.
Initial Complaint and Investigation
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, SVU Detectives were dispatched to the Children’s Advocacy Center of Houma after receiving a report of potential sexual abuse involving a minor. The juvenile victim, accompanied by their parents, disclosed details of alleged inappropriate sexual encounters with Neal, prompting an immediate response from investigators.
According to authorities, the child provided a statement during a forensic interview confirming sexual involvement with Neal.
