Tragic Loss of a Green Bay Teen in Marinette County Motorcycle Crash

Posted on June 30, 2025 by Usainsightreport

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Jerin B. Bucher, a vibrant and spirited 16-year-old from Green Bay, Wisconsin, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on the morning of Saturday, in Marinette County.

According to officials with the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal crash occurred on Loucks Road, where Jerin was operating a motorcycle and, despite wearing a helmet, lost control and was fatally injured. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but tragically, Jerin could not be saved. Initial investigations suggest that speed may have been a contributing factor, although a full investigation remains underway.

Jerin’s sudden and devastating passing has sent shockwaves through the Green Bay and Marinette County communities. At just 16 years old, Jerin had his whole life ahead of him — filled with dreams, curiosity, and an unmistakable passion for life. He was known for his bright smile, adventurous nature, and the positive energy he brought to every room he entered. Friends, classmates, neighbors, and teachers all describe Jerin as someone who made a lasting impact on those around him.

Motorcycles were more than just a hobby for Jerin — they were a passion. He had a fascination with how things worked, especially engines, and he loved the feeling of freedom that came with riding. Though he rode with caution and wore his helmet, the tragic events of Saturday morning are a painful reminder of how quickly joy can turn to sorrow on the road.

Jerin was also a loving son, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted teen who had deep connections in his school and community. Whether it was helping a friend through a tough time, bringing laughter to a gathering, or standing up for what he believed in, Jerin carried a rare blend of compassion and courage that resonated with many.

As family, friends, and community members grapple with this unimaginable loss, they are leaning on one another for strength, comfort, and healing. Vigils and memorials are being planned in Jerin’s honor, where stories of his life and light will be shared to help ease the pain of his absence.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the exact circumstances of the crash. As more details become available, the community remains focused on honoring Jerin’s life rather than the tragedy that took him away.

In times like these, the community’s support is invaluable. Thoughts, prayers, and condolences are pouring in from across Green Bay and beyond. As we collectively mourn the loss of such a promising young soul, let us also celebrate who Jerin was: a bright spark, taken too soon, but never forgotten.

Jerin B. Bucher’s life, though brief, was meaningful and impactful. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones find strength in the love that surrounds them.

Funeral and memorial service details will be shared once arrangements are finalized. In the meantime, the family requests privacy as they grieve and encourages everyone to cherish the moments they have with those they love.
