Tulsa Woman Arrested on Multiple Child Sexual Exploitation Charges Following Public Tip
TULSA, OK — The Tulsa Police Department (TPD) has arrested 42-year-old Falisha Johnson on a series of serious child exploitation and abuse charges following a tip from the public that led to her capture. Johnson, who had been wanted on multiple felony warrants, was taken into custody on May 25, 2025, and is now being held at the Tulsa County Jail on a $450,000 bond.
According to authorities, Johnson was the subject of an active investigation stemming from deeply disturbing allegations involving the exploitation and abuse of a child under the age of 12. Formal charges were filed against her on May 14, 2025, including:
- Child Sexual Exploitation of a Child Under 12
- Child Sexual Exploitation
- Two Counts of Lewd Molestation
- Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography
The charges are among the most severe in Oklahoma’s criminal code related to crimes against children, and law enforcement officials emphasized the gravity of the offenses during a press briefing. Investigators have not released detailed information regarding the victim or how Johnson came into contact with the child, citing the sensitive nature of the case and the need to protect the identity of the victim.
TPD credited the arrest to swift action following a public tip about Johnson’s whereabouts. The department had been actively seeking her since the charges were filed and had encouraged the public to assist in locating her. Thanks to the tip received, officers were able to track her down and make the arrest without incident.
“This arrest represents a critical step toward justice in what is an extremely disturbing and heartbreaking case,” said a spokesperson for the Tulsa Police Department. “We are grateful to the individual who came forward with information, and we want the public to know that we take crimes against children with the utmost seriousness.”
Johnson remains in custody as the judicial process moves forward. She has not yet entered a plea, and it is unclear at this time whether she has retained legal representation. If convicted, she faces decades in prison due to the nature and severity of the charges.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police have not ruled out the possibility of additional charges or the involvement of other individuals. Authorities are urging anyone with further information related to this case to come forward.
This arrest underscores the ongoing efforts by Tulsa law enforcement to combat child exploitation and hold offenders accountable. TPD has reiterated its commitment to working closely with state and federal agencies to ensure the protection of the most vulnerable members of the community.
